Job summary

Achieve Career Consultant Pte Ltd in Singapore is assisting an established A1 main contractor to recruit an Assistant Contracts Manager for the commercial team. You will support the Contracts Manager in tendering, post‑contract activities and commercial reporting across major building projects.

You will review tender documents, manage variations and final accounts, monitor costs and cash flow, and liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5–8 years of relevant contracts or commercial experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in tendering, subcontract administration, cost control and post-contract management.
• Familiarity with variations, claims, EOT submissions and final accounts.
• Experience with a main contractor on civil, infrastructure or building projects.
• Good commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Contracts Manager in managing tender and post-contract activities.
• Review tender documents, prepare commercial submissions, cost analyses and tender evaluations.
• Coordinate subcontractor procurement, contract administration, claims and final accounts.
• Manage contractual matters including variations, EOT submissions, claims and contractual correspondence.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Identify contractual risks and support the resolution of commercial issues and disputes.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation, commercial reports and records.
