Job summary

SUTD (Singapore University of Technology & Design) seeks a seasoned IT professional to implement and maintain IS projects, aligning systems with the university’s strategic needs. You will drive feasibility studies, gather requirements, manage development and testing, and ensure quality across deliverables.

Qualifications

• Have a Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in project management with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of software services, cloud-based apps and educational environments.
• Proficiency in software development and ability to code in .NET, DB Triggers and scripting.
• Experience in development and maintenance of APIs and integration using REST.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and practical software development applications.
• Experience integrating AI services (Azure AI, OpenAI) into applications.
• Strong written/verbal communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users and vendors on feasibility studies and manage full project lifecycles including requirements gathering, development, deployment, testing and support.
• Prepare ITQ/Tender specs, conduct evaluations, and ensure deliverables meet university standards and policies.
• Maintain project libraries, documentation and licenses for IS applications.
