Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Contract Buyer to support procurement and supply chain operations for a global medical technology MNC in Singapore. The role focuses on hands-on purchasing, supplier management, and material availability to ensure smooth production and delivery.

You will manage quotations, POs, and inventory, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings and supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree in supply chain management, procurement, business, or related field.
• Experience in vendor management and building supplier partnerships.
• Manufacturing and raw-material procurement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage quotations, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders for materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent stockouts.
• Maintain purchasing records, supplier performance data, and PO status.
• Build supplier relationships and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Drive sourcing and supply-risk projects including supplier localisation, direct sourcing, and business continuity planning.
• Analyze purchasing and inventory data to support demand planning, reporting, and process improvements.
