Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Contract Buyer for procurement of raw materials and manufacturing supplies in Changi. The role involves preparing POs, quotations, and procurement documentation, while managing suppliers and ensuring on-time deliveries.

You will support inventory monitoring, collaborate with production, logistics and quality teams, and analyze purchasing data to drive cost-saving initiatives. Occasional evening calls with overseas stakeholders are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on procurement / buying experience is required.
• Strong experience in supplier and vendor management.
• Manufacturing / raw material procurement experience strongly preferred.
• Able to attend occasional evening calls with overseas stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of raw materials and manufacturing supplies
• Prepare purchase orders, quotations and procurement documentation
• Manage suppliers, negotiate pricing and ensure timely deliveries
• Monitor inventory levels, material shortages and outstanding orders
• Coordinate with production, logistics and quality teams
• Analyse purchasing data and support cost-saving initiatives
