Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their businesses, tech environments and permanent hiring needs.
• Identify new business opportunities through market research, client outreach, referrals and professional networking.
• Manage the full permanent recruitment lifecycle, including client briefings, sourcing, interview coordination, offer negotiation and placement follow-up.
• Build candidate networks across software engineering, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data and enterprise applications through direct sourcing, referrals and market mapping.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define the technical expertise, experience and qualifications required for each role.
• Assess candidates against job-related requirements, considering their technical skills, achievements and aspirations.
• Coordinate technical assessments and other selection activities with clients.
• Advise clients and candidates on talent availability, remuneration, hiring requirements and processes.
• Prepare recruitment proposals and negotiate fees and service terms within company guidelines.
• Support clients and candidates through offer acceptance, notice periods and onboarding, maintaining contact after placement.
• Develop understanding of technology functions and industry developments to provide informed recruitment advice.
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams and locations on client opportunities and recruitment delivery.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records in line with company policies.
• Uphold fair recruitment practices and professional integrity.

Role Description

Candidate Profile

• Relevant experience in recruitment, technology, technical sales, business development or account management, with skills transferable to client engagement and recruitment delivery.
• An interest in technology recruitment and a willingness to develop specialist market knowledge. Experience recruiting for or working within technology functions would be an advantage.
• The ability to understand technical hiring requirements and communicate effectively with hiring managers and technology professionals.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities, engage prospective clients and develop existing accounts.
• Clear communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative approach to understanding client and candidate needs.
• Strong research and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
• Initiative, persistence and the ability to respond constructively to changing client requirements and recruitment challenges.
• A commitment to service quality, fair hiring and building trusted, long-term professional relationships.
