H SUNLIGHT ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Business Development professional to identify tender opportunities, build client relations and coordinate pricing with estimating and engineering teams.

The role requires hands-on tendering experience, strong negotiation and networking skills, and familiarity with the Singapore market. You will report to management and drive the company’s tendering pipeline.

Qualifications

Diploma or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related fields.
Minimum 4 years business development / commercial experience in construction or infrastructure sector.
Hands-on experience in construction tendering, bidding and contract negotiation.
Capable of drafting tender and commercial documents.
Strong negotiation, communication and networking skills, result-driven and self-motivated.
Familiarity with Singapore construction market and tender processes will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Identify new project leads, conduct market research and track tender opportunities in the construction industry.
Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors.
Coordinate tender works, prepare commercial proposals and pricing documents with estimating and engineering teams.
Negotiate contract terms, scope of works, pricing and payment conditions.
Follow up bid status, analyze tender feedback and report business pipeline to management.
Undertake other ad-hoc business development tasks assigned by management.
