Job summary

Yongnam Engineering and Construction (Pte) Ltd is seeking a Construction Manager to plan, coordinate, supervise, and complete projects safely, on time and within budget in Singapore. You will oversee daily activities, schedule progress, manage manpower and equipment, and ensure adherence to regulations while coordinating with clients and engineers.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 yrs experience in relevant construction work.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site operations and renovation works.
• Good leadership with manpower.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers and subcontractors.
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Able to receive calls and reply text any time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily construction activities.

• Allocate work and supervise site teams.
• Monitor subcontractors' performance.
• Coordinate final inspections, testing, handover and completion documentation.

Job description

Project Planning & Management

Plan and coordinate daily construction activities.

Prepare work schedules and monitor project progress.

Ensure work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
Supervise workers, subcontractors, and site activities.

Ensure proper manpower and equipment are available.

Coordinate with engineers, workers and clients.

Ensure compliance with MOM, BCA, WSH requirements, and other applicable regulations.

Identify and control site hazards.

Inspect completed works and arrange rectification where necessary.

Have knowledge in Electrical, plumbing and other handyman jobs

Monitor project costs, materials, manpower, and equipment.

Control wastage and avoid unnecessary expenses.

Check material requirements and coordinate procurement.

Maintain site records, progress reports, inspection records, and other project documents.

Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve technical and site problems quickly.

Allocate work and supervise site teams.

Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure they follow project requirements.

Coordinate manpower and work sequences.

Ensure outstanding works and defects are rectified.

Coordinate final inspections, testing, handover, and completion documentation.

Requirements:
