Job summary

LNDA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee site operations, ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications.

You will lead site supervisors and coordinate subcontractors to deliver on-time results. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, at least 5 years of relevant experience, ability to interpret drawings, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
• Willing to work a 6-day week at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities, including work planning, site supervision and coordination.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials and equipment to meet project requirements.
• Lead site supervisors and construction teams, and coordinate subcontractors’ work.
• Monitor construction progress, identify delays and implement recovery measures.
• Review drawings, specifications and method statements, and resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on site progress.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, quality standards and requirements.
• Coordinate with safety team to implement risk assessments and permit-to-work.
• Monitor productivity, material usage and site costs to minimise wastage.
• Attend project meetings and prepare site progress reports.
• Coordinate inspections, defect rectification and project handover.
