Job summary

Right Construction Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable Site Manager to lead daily site operations across our civil and building projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site workers to ensure work is safe, on schedule, and compliant with drawings and specifications.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with at least 5 years' experience managing construction sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction site management.
• Experience in building and/or civil construction projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of construction methods, site operations, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Strong coordination, planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage subcontractors, site workers, and multiple site activities effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction/project management software.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced site environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee daily site operations to ensure works are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate and supervise site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers for smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure works conform to drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Work with Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship and quality.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and site resources to meet timelines.
• Attend site, coordination, and progress meetings as required.
• Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure schedule and standards are met.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress records, inspection records, and related documents.
• Identify delays and site risks; recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with authorities for site-related matters as required.
• Ensure housekeeping and proper site organization; support testing, inspection, handover, and defect rectification.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project needs.
