Job summary

B. Spring International PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to perform detailed quantity take-offs, prepare cost plans, and manage subcontractor bids for M&E and structural works. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

You will study tender documents, prepare quotations, monitor budgets, and certify progress claims while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. Degree/Diploma in QS or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of similar experience in the M&E or structural industry is advantageous.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quantity take-off for projects and source suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Study tender/contract documents to identify discrepancies.
• Produce quantity measurements within targeted timelines.
• Prepare quotations and analyze costing for tender and subcontract awards.
• Ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bids.
• Prepare cost budgets and track design/construction changes.
• Review and prepare subcontract and supplier agreements.
• Certify and evaluate progress work; manage variations on contracts.
• Assess and submit monthly progress claims.
• Finalize subcontract and main contract final accounts.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Descriptions:

1. Carry out Quantity Take off for project which includes sourcing for suppliers and sub-contractors, collate price comparison and costing summary.

2. Study and identify discrepancies in tender/contract documents.

3. Produce quantity measurement within targeted timeline.

4. Prepare and call quotations including analyzing and evaluating for costing of tender; or negotitate and award of subcontracts for projects.

5. To ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bid.

6. Prepare cost budget, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projects accordingly.

7. Review and prepare agreements for award to subcontractors and suppliers.

8.Certify and evaluate progress work done, includes contract administration for variations for both subcontract and main contracts works.

9. Assess and submit monthly progress claim, and recommend subcontractor's monthly progress payment.

10. Finalise subcontract and main contract's final account.

11. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.


• Min. 3-5 years similar capacity experience in the M&E Industry or Structure Industry would be an added advantage.


• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office Applications.


• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
