Job summary

DING SHENG E&C PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Officer to manage purchase orders, coordinate with project, site and warehouse teams, and ensure on-time delivery in line with project requirements.

You will negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, maintain records, and source materials and services as needed. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in purchasing or SCM, with construction procurement experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, SCM, or related field.
Experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in construction.
Knowledge of purchasing procedures and supplier management.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Issue and manage purchase orders, track order status, and ensure on-time delivery and completeness.
Coordinate with project, site and warehouse teams to ensure materials delivery according to project requirements.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings and reliable supply.
Maintain proper purchasing records, quotations, purchase orders and supplier information.
Source and purchase construction materials, equipment, tools and services according to project requirements.
