Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Planning and Scheduling professional to support planning, scheduling and progress monitoring across engineering and construction projects. You will develop detailed schedules using Primavera P6 and prepare baseline and look-ahead schedules to align with project requirements.

You will establish activity sequences, monitor progress against baselines, analyze delays, and prepare recovery plans with mitigation actions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in project planning or project controls.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and developing/maintaining schedules.
• Understanding of critical path analysis and delay recovery planning.
• Experience in engineering/construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring across engineering and construction projects.
• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules and periodic schedule updates in accordance with project requirements.
• Establish activity sequences, durations, dependencies, key milestones and critical path activities.
• Review project schedules to ensure alignment with project scope, contractual requirements and execution plans.
• Monitor actual project progress against the approved baseline schedule and identify deviations or potential delays.
• Track critical path activities, key milestones, engineering deliverables, procurement activities and construction progress.
• Collect and verify progress updates from project managers, engineers, construction teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Analyse schedule performance and provide early warnings on activities that may affect project completion dates.
• Maintain accurate records of schedule updates, revisions, progress and changes.
• Identify schedule risks, slippages and potential bottlenecks that may impact project milestones.
• Conduct schedule impact assessments and support the evaluation of delays and changes to the project execution plan.
• Prepare recovery schedules and assist project teams in developing mitigation measures to minimise delays.
• Recommend corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness in bringing project activities back on track.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, tracking project progress against approved plans, identifying potential delays, and supporting the project team in achieving key milestones.

Project Planning and Scheduling

Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules and periodic schedule updates in accordance with project requirements.

Establish activity sequences, durations, dependencies, key milestones and critical path activities.

Review project schedules to ensure alignment with project scope, contractual requirements and execution plans.

Experience in engineering, construction, CSA, MEP or similar project environments.
