Job summary

talentsis pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of building and construction projects. You will support the Lead Consultant in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring milestones are met, budgets controlled, and regulatory requirements followed.

The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities, leading briefings, progress reports, and ensuring contract administration and approvals are efficiently handled.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil/Engineering/Building Science or related construction discipline recognized by BOA/PEB/BCA in Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in building construction or project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction PM principles, contract administration and project delivery.
• Familiarity with PSSCOC and related standard contracts is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Consultant in managing day-to-day administration and execution of building contracts.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor and implement project activities per the approved construction programme.
• Organise and participate in project briefings, presentations, and progress meetings.
• Coordinate project implementation, including contract administration, approvals and supervising construction works.
• Monitor submissions (shop drawings, method statements, samples, inspection schedules, etc.).
• Review and monitor the master programme to meet milestones and budgets.
• Coordinate with QS and other consultants to prepare cash flow forecasts and progress reports.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities to facilitate delivery.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of building and construction projects. You will support the Lead Consultant (SO Representative) in managing day-to-day project operations, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities while managing all aspects of project planning, coordination, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Consultant (SO Representative) in managing the day-to-day administration and execution of building contracts.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor, and implement project activities in accordance with the approved construction programme.
• Organise and participate in project briefings, presentations, technical reviews, progress meetings, and other stakeholder engagements.
• Coordinate project implementation, including contract administration, obtaining statutory approvals and permits, and supervising construction works.
• Monitor contractors' and consultants' submissions, including:Authority submissions and approvalsShop drawingsMethod statementsMaterial samplesTimber mock-ups and sample unitsInspection schedules and work trade demonstrations
• Review and monitor the overall project master programme, ensuring milestones, timelines, and construction budgets are achieved.
• Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors and other project consultants to prepare project cash flow forecasts, progress reports, and cost updates for management and client presentations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Building Science, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related construction discipline.
• Qualification must be recognised by the Board of Architects (BOA), Professional Engineers Board (PEB), or the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) in Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in the building construction industry or project management.
• Strong understanding of construction project management principles, contract administration, and project delivery.
• Familiarity with the following will be an advantage: Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract for Construction Works (PSSCOC) Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract for Design and Build Standard Conditions of Nominated Sub-Contract
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, and stakeholder management skills.
