Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE certification.
• 8–10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years leading major building or depot projects.
• Experience planning and executing complex construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and Singapore regulations.
• Proven project management, leadership, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of construction works for daily site progress.
• Manage field construction supervisors and plant/equipment supervisors for coordination.
• Plan and manage temporary works with safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure construction and equipment installation adhere to contract specs, standards, and regs.

Our client is looking for an experienced and results-drivenConstruction Managerto oversee and manage construction activities for building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and incompliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction works for daily site progress.
• Manage field construction supervisors and plant and equipment supervisors to ensure effective coordination and execution of tasks.
• Plan and manage temporary works, ensuring all necessary safety and regulatory requirements are met.
• Ensure construction and equipment installation works are executed in accordance with contract specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering - Professional Engineer (PE) certification recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
• 8 to 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years managing the construction of major building/s or bus depot projects or LTA building projects.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Experience with construction projects in Singapore or similar regions.
• Familiarity with local construction codes and standards.
