Job summary

Links International in Singapore is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee delivery of civil projects on site. You will lead a team to meet milestones, manage budgets, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with at least 5 years in civil works and proficiency in MS Project, Primavera and AutoCAD. A Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Requires strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities with excellent communication and negotiation.
• Analytical thinker with the ability to work independently and manage complex tasks.
• At least 5 years of Civil Works experience.
• Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project planning tools is essential.
• Experience with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Construction plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders for seamless execution.
• Identify risks and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and policies.
• Communicate progress with clients and project teams and address concerns.
• Manage budgets and financial reporting for cost control.

As a Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the successful delivery of construction projects. You will be based in one of the project site in Singapore. This position will see you leading a team of professionals to ensure project milestones are met, budgets are adhered to, and the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement Construction plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively addressing any issues that arise
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Communicate regularly with clients, project stakeholders, and the wider project team to provide progress updates and address any concerns
• Manage project budgets and financial reporting, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources
• Lead and motivate your team, providing direction, support, and opportunities for professional development

Requirements:

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills/people management skills, good communication skills and negotiation skills and strong leadership qualities.
• Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
• Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCad.
