Job summary

SCT Contractors Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Management Manager to oversee construction projects from planning through completion.

You will coordinate diverse teams, manage resources, monitor costs, and ensure safety and quality compliance on site. The role requires a diploma or degree in a relevant field and at least five years of PM experience in civil construction, with strong leadership, planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress and ensure works meet drawings, specs and contract requirements.
• Manage budgets, costs, procurement and resource utilization.
• Identify delays and risks and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Coordinate submissions, inspections, testing and approvals with authorities.

• Manage variations and changes to project scope.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT MANAGER

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Management Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing resources, monitoring progress, controlling costs, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and oversee construction projects from commencement to completion.

• Develop project schedules, work programmes, manpower plans and resource requirements.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.

• Lead and supervise project teams, site personnel and subcontractors.

• Monitor project progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.

• Manage project budgets, costs, procurement and resource utilisation.

• Identify potential project delays, technical issues and risks, and implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Conduct regular project and site meetings and provide progress updates to management and clients.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental and quality requirements.

• Coordinate submissions, inspections, testing and approvals with relevant authorities and consultants.

• Review construction drawings, method statements, schedules and technical documentation.

• Manage variations, additional works and changes to project scope.

• Ensure proper documentation, progress reporting and project records are maintained.

• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned works.

• Resolve site coordination and technical issues promptly.

• Manage project handover, completion documentation and defect rectification works.

• Perform other project management duties assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction and project management.

• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices, site operations and project coordination.

• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.

• Able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.

• Strong planning, coordination, leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and work under project deadlines.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and project planning/scheduling software.

• Knowledge of relevant BCA, MOM, WSH and other regulatory requirements will be an advantage.

• Candidates with experience in civil, infrastructure, roadworks, drainage and building works will be an advantage.
