Job summary

E M Services Private Limited in Singapore seeks a hands-on project/quantity surveyor to manage maintenance and building projects from inception to completion. You will lead feasibility studies, site surveys, tender management, and supervise the execution of repairs, redecorations, reroofing, and alterations.

The role requires a diploma in related field, at least two years of relevant experience, strong WSHA knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Diploma or professional qualifications in Building/Quantity Surveying or related construction management fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in building/maintenance projects from inception to completion.
• Good understanding of WSHA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to multitask and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility study and site survey to determine project scope.
• Supervise tender management, including preparing tender documents and evaluating tenders.
• Oversee project teams in Repairs & Redecoration, reroofing, and additions & alterations.
• Carry out periodic site inspections.
• Oversee budget and cost control for all projects under the Town Council.
• Monitor progress payments and documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants, including external project management consultants.
• Hold regular coordination meetings with project management consultants and ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality requirements.
• Update key stakeholders on project progress regularly.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.
