Job summary

Tahlia Waters in Singapore seeks an experienced project manager to oversee building repair and maintenance initiatives from planning to completion. You will handle tendering, contractor coordination, site inspections, and rigorous cost control to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a degree in Building Construction / Facilities Management / Quantity Surveying and at least 3 years of PM experience in facilities management, with strong knowledge of BCA regulations and WSH standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience within facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of BCA regulations, construction methods, contract administration, and WSH requirements.
• Experience managing A&A, R&R, upgrading, maintenance, or infrastructure projects.
• Independent and resourceful with good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• You will support and manage building repair and maintenance projects, including tendering, contractor coordination, site inspections, and cost control.
• You will lead and manage construction, upgrading, A&A, R&R, reroofing, and infrastructure projects from planning to completion.
• You will oversee contractors and consultants to ensure timely delivery, quality workmanship, site management, and compliance with project requirements.
• You will monitor project progress, costs, quality, and timelines in accordance with contracts and approved budgets.
• You will conduct site inspections, technical reviews, coordination meetings, and progress reviews.
• You will ensure compliance with approved drawings, BCA regulations, and Workplace Safety & Health requirements.
• You will review work programmes, method statements, variation orders, and progress claims.
• You will identify project risks and resolve technical or site issues promptly.
• You will manage contract administration, project documentation, reporting, and authority submissions.
• You will liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
