Job summary

ACETEK Engineering Private Limited in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting, AP/AR and project costing using Xero.

Responsibilities include GST compliance, bank reconciliations, invoicing and reporting, with coordination to HR/Admin for supporting documents.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting and 2–3 years of experience, plus strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience using Xero is essential.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Singapore GST requirements and accounting practices.
• Construction industry accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience handling supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, progress claims and project cost tracking is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in Xero.
• Record daily financial transactions with proper supporting documents.
• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices; monitor payments.
• Prepare customer invoices, progress claims and other billing documents.
• Perform monthly bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Assist with project cost tracking and reporting.
