Job summary

ACETEK ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Accounts Executive in Singapore to maintain accurate Xero records and manage day-to-day accounting tasks. You will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and project cost tracking while ensuring compliance with GST and internal controls.

Requirements include a Diploma or equivalent in Accounting or Finance, 2–3 years of experience, and hands-on Xero proficiency. Excellent Excel skills and strong coordination are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience using Xero is essential.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Singapore GST requirements and construction industry accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in Xero.
• Record daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, invoices, expenses and journal entries.
• Monitor company cash flow and outstanding payments and receipts.
• Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements.
• Prepare monthly accounts and project cost reports for management.
