Job summary

SHJIANLI (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities at TUAS.

You will liaise with the CM team, prepare weekly progress reports, and ensure safe, well-coordinated site execution in line with approved drawings and MOS/MSRA requirements. You will work closely with Technical, QAQC and safety teams, plan subcontractor resources, monitor progress, and prepare handover documents upon project completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Project Manager or Site Manager in construction.
• Proven track record delivering complex construction projects end-to-end.
• Strong planning, budgeting and resource allocation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• Knowledge of construction regulations, safety and QAQC.
• Proficient with project management software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Over all in charge of site construction activities.
• Coordinate with CM team for daily site reporting.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and attend weekly coordination meetings.
• Ensure site work progresses safely and smoothly.
• Work with QAQC, safety and technical teams to meet specs, MOS, MSRA and shop drawings.
• Plan subcontractor manpower, equipment, materials and access.
• Provide construction information for reporting and maintain schedules.
• Attend site inspections as requested by the team.
• Prepare site documents for submission through DMCs.
• Prepare weekly schedules to monitor and control progress.
• Resolve site coordination issues and raise RFIs as needed.
• Raise QAQC queries to the QAQC team at project stages.
• Monitor and supervise MEP works to ensure quality finishes.
• Prepare handing over documents and reports at project completion.
• Coordinate with Singapore-based team to meet project requirements.

Job description

Due to business expansion, we are now seeking experienced and responsible Construction Manager to join our team and grow with the company.

Work Location: TUAS (Company-provided shuttle bus service)

Main Responsibilities:

• Over all in charge of site construction activities
• To liaise and deal with CM team for daily site activities reporting.
• To prepare and submit progress report and attend weekly coordination meeting.
• Ensure site work progress is well coordinated and run smoothly and safely.
• To work with Technical, QAQC and safety team and ensure all the MEP work is completed according to the required specifications, approved MOS, MSRA, approved drawings and shop drawings and materials.
• Planning ahead in terms of subcontractor manpower, equipment, materials and access.
• Timely availability of construction information for reporting.
• Attend all site inspection as and when requested by construction team.
• To prepare all site documents as necessary for our Document controller to submit through DMCs.
• To prepare weekly schedule to monitor and control site progress.
• To resolve all site coordination problems between different disciplines based on approved construction drawing and shop drawing and raise RFI to DC for submission.
• To identify QAQC site queries to the QAQC team at various stages of the projects.
• Monitoring and supervise the MEP work during the site installation and ensuring Quality finished product in the project.
• Preparing handing over documents and report at the project completion.
• Work closely with the Singapore-based team to coordinate project requirements and ensure smooth project execution.

Job Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager in the construction industry
• Proven track record in successfully managing complex construction projects, from inception to completion
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to navigate challenges and find creative solutions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stake holders
• Thorough understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Fluent in both English and Chinese
