Job summary

MEIDA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage construction activities on-site in Singapore.

You will independently supervise progress, interpret structural drawings and specifications, and coordinate with client representatives to ensure project goals are met. The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with staff at all levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience.
• Able to understand structural drawings, specifications and requirements.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities and progress independently.
• Supervise structural/architectural works and coordinate with client’s representatives.
• Lead a team of workers and sub-contractors on-site.
• Resolve design/site problems encountered during construction.
• Ensure quality of work and safety on site.
• Prepare daily progress reports and work schedules.
• Attend project meetings.

Responsibilities

• Resolve design site problems encountered during the construction period
• Ensure the quality of work
• Responsible for implementing the work plan of the Project Manager
• Prepare daily progress report and work schedule
• Oversee quality control and safety and health matters on site.
• Attend project meetings
• Other ad-hoc tasks within the Manager's capability

Requirements

• Min Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 5 years of working experience
• Good communication skill and able to interact with all level of staff
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company
