Job summary

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all onsite processes for major projects within the Department of Development and Project Management. The role includes early-stage involvement and a delivery focus on live A&A environments.

The role requires leading on-site teams, ensuring health, safety, quality and budget compliance, and coordinating with purchasing for trade scopes, logistics, and meetings to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, BArch degree Architecture / built environment or BSc Construction Management discipline as a minimum.
• Experience: 10+ years as Construction Manager, preferably with 5 years in A&A.
• Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the onsite team ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and sustainability guidelines.
• Ensure housekeeping and quality benchmarks are met in each work area.
• Lead the onsite team to complete projects within budget and schedule per contract documents.
• Develop scopes of work for each trade with the purchasing department.
• Input into and develop logistics plans to coordinate contractor work.
• Hold regular meetings with trade contractors to review drawings, lead times, and on-site dates.
• Schedule factory visits as needed and manage progress reviews.
• Prepare detailed project reports and track changes, costs, and schedule updates.
