Job summary

SH Design & Build Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Environmental Control Officer to manage environmental control for HDB construction sites. You will implement NEA-aligned procedures, prepare SECP/SECR and coordinate with authorities to ensure compliance.

Requirements include NEA ECO registration, a degree in Environmental Science or related field, and at least 5 years in environmental management on construction projects. Strong communication and on-site leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of environmental control or management experience in construction.
• NEA-registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO).
• Experience on HDB projects is highly preferred.
• Familiar with NEA, PUB and other environmental regs.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental control for HDB construction projects.
• Implement procedures per NEA requirements and regulations.
• Prepare SECP and SECR and other required docs.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with environmental rules.
• Monitor environmental control areas (noise, air, water, waste, vector).
• Advise project team, contractors and workers on environmental practices.
• Investigate complaints and non-compliances and follow up actions.
• Maintain records of inspections, monitoring and actions.
