Job summary

Good Class Builders Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter/Coordinator to produce detailed architectural drawings, models and documentation.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure design integrity and timely progression of work across project phases. You will review shop drawings, materials and vendor submittals, maintain records and support continuous improvement of drafting standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related technical discipline with strong foundational design knowledge.
• Excellent CAD software proficiency and attention to detail.
• Strong coordination and communication skills across project teams.

What you'll be doing?

• Technical Drawing Excellence:Prepare and produce detailed architectural drawings, models, and comprehensive design documentation to support the planning and construction of new buildings and renovation projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Project Coordination Leadership:Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of design elements and maintain timely progression of work across all project phases and stakeholders.
• Review & Approval Management:Assist in the thorough review and approval process of shop drawings, material samples, and vendor submittals from subcontractors, ensuring compliance with design specifications and project requirements.
• Documentation & Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and comprehensive records and documentation related to all design and construction activities, supporting project tracking, compliance requirements, and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborative Problem Solving:Work closely with the design team to identify and resolve complex design issues while incorporating client feedback effectively, ensuring projects meet stakeholder expectations and technical requirements.
• Process Improvement Initiatives:Support continuous improvement of drafting standards, processes, and tools within the organization, contributing to enhanced efficiency, quality, and consistency across all projects and deliverables.

Who are we looking for?

• Educational Foundation:Candidates with a Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related technical disciplines that provide strong foundational knowledge in design principles, construction methods, and technical documentation standards.
• Specialized Experience:Professionals with minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as an Architectural Drafter or Coordinator within the construction industry, with preference given to those with experience in landed houses.
• Technical Software Proficiency:Advanced skills in CAD software including AutoCAD and Revit, along with other design-related tools and applications essential for producing high-quality architectural drawings and project documentation.
• Construction Knowledge:Strong technical understanding of building materials, construction methods, and design principles that enable effective coordination with contractors and accurate interpretation of project requirements.
• Communication Excellence:Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, from field workers to senior management.
