Job summary

FK HUMAN RESOURCES PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will create, modify and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and other operations, interpreting drawings and GD&T to ensure strict part conformity.

You will select tools, set up programs, simulate, troubleshoot and collaborate with machinists, engineers and quality personnel to improve productivity, tool life and quality while meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Programmer or CNC Machinist.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and G-code/M-code.
• Experience with milling and/or turning machines.
• Ability to read drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM or Fusion 360.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, drilling and other machining operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T requirements.
• Develop CNC programs using G-code and CAM software.
• Select cutting tools, tooling methods, speeds and feeds.
• Set up and prove out CNC programs, including tool offsets and work coordinates.
• Run simulations and identify potential machining or collision issues before production.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and machining problems and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize machining cycles to improve productivity, tool life, quality and material utilization.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, quality personnel and production teams.
• Ensure finished components meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Maintain and update CNC programs, tooling records, setup sheets and related documentation.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement activities and reduce machining time, scrap and production costs.

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, or equivalent.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

• Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, work-holding, and tooling selection.

• Good understanding of precision measurement and inspection equipment.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

• Willingness to work shifts and to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines,with flexbility to work extended hours when required.
