Job summary

KONG MENG SAN PHOR KARK SEE MONASTERY is seeking a dedicated team member to plan, coordinate and develop community programmes and outreach activities. You will monitor effectiveness, coordinate volunteers, and support administrative duties to strengthen community well-being.

The role requires a Diploma or above in related fields, at least 2 years in community outreach, and bilingual English/Mandarin communication. Weekend and public holiday work may be required; knowledge of Buddhism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Psychology / Social Service / Event Management / Business Management or related discipline.
• Min. 2 years of experience in community outreach, programme planning or related social service work.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong programme planning and coordination, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays, or irregular hours; knowledge of Buddhism is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and develop community programmes, services and outreach.
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of programmes and services.
• Coordinate department volunteers’ operations and development.
• Support and facilitate department administration duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare publicity materials relating to programmes and services.
• Support Monastery events and activities.
• Network and promote cordial relationships with stakeholders.
