Job summary

Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore) seeks a dedicated individual to curate, conduct, evaluate and review community programmes and activities for seniors at the centre.

You will lead physical activities, coordinate outreach, assist with budgeting and KPIs, and support volunteers. No prior experience is required; G-suite is a plus, and you will work with the Centre Lead to ensure safe, engaging activities for elderly participants.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required.
• Proficiency in G-suite is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Curate, conduct, evaluate and review appropriate programmes and activities.
• Instruct members in motion exercises, mobility training and strength conditioning.
• Perform pre/post program functionality assessment.
• Ensure the safety of the participants.
• Conduct attendance recording and registration of existing and new seniors.
• Take vital signs of seniors.
• Produce program materials.
• Identify and approach seniors to participate in activities at the centre.
• Interact with and engage seniors to develop a supportive relationship.
• Assist Centre Lead to plan, conduct, evaluate and review Community Outreach to seniors.
• Conduct case work management and to apply for relevant social grants/schemes.
• Assist Centre Lead/Manager in the preparation of budgets, monitoring of Centre KPIs/OKRs, preparation of grant submissions to sponsors, manage and support volunteers.
