Job summary

MINDS seeks an Assistant Manager of Community-Based Support Services to lead Befriending and Respite programmes, bridging service gaps for PWIDs and caregivers, and mentoring a team of Programme Executives toward client‑centred delivery.

Reporting to the CSS Manager, you will oversee risk, quality and budget, review materials, organise volunteer activities, and collaborate with partner organisations to develop responsive community programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree Holder in relevant field of Disability/Allied Health Professional/ Mass Communications.
• Effective and good interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Analytical and Critical Thinking and attention to details.
• Demonstrate Lead Self Attributes and Potential for Leadership Track.
• Relevant Volunteer Management Skills.
• Have Strong Interest and Open Attitude towards understanding Persons with Intellectual Disability and their needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CSS programme delivery and risk management.
• Develop and refine Befriending/Respite programmes to meet client needs.
• Mentor Programme Executives to ensure client-centric delivery.
• Collaborate with other organisations to expand programmes.
• Manage budget and track expenses for programmes.
• Lead community outreach and engagement with caregivers and PWIDs.
