Job summary

BANK OF CHINA LIMITED in Singapore seeks a dedicated analyst to support the commodities business through data analysis, reporting, and process optimization. You will work with RMs, draft business materials, and assist with departmental planning.

You will also help with risk and compliance tasks, handle annual reviews, classification, post-loan reports, and regulatory submissions, while communicating in English and Chinese with head office and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred in business administration
• Sound MS Office software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and coordination abilities
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese for communication with Head office and Chinese-speaking customers

Job description:

1. Data analysis and reporting: Assist in the processing and analysis of data for the commodities business; assist in drafting business reporting materials, departmental planning reports, research and other related reporting.
2. Business Support: Provide relevant business support to department's RMs, such as business data support and process optimization, and undertake certain administrative tasks for the department.
3. Compliance Management: Assist in the department's risk and compliance management work, including timely follow-up on customer annual reviews, classification, rating, and post-loan management reports; follow up on audit and compliance matters' and submission of regulatory reports.
4. Other tasks assigned by superiors.

Requirement:

1. Bachelor degree from recognized university with business administration study is preferred.
2. Sound MS office software skills (e.g. Excel, Word and Powerpoint), communication and coordination skills.
3. Sound written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese so as to communicate with Head office, Chinese speaking customers, and write business report in Chinese independently .
