Job summary

Qualifications

• Junior middle school graduate or above.
• Minimum 2 years as Cook or 1 year as Commis II in a 5-star hotel, international brand hotel or high-standard restaurant.
• Valid health certificate.
• Good knowledge of Western or Chinese cuisine.
• Able to work in a moist, hot and sometimes loud environment.
• English language proficiency (verbal and written) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for guests and team members efficiently, hygienically, and per recipes/procedures.
• Support the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operation and prompt service.
• Plan, prepare and set up high-quality food and beverage products and restaurant setups.
• Work with recipes, standards and plating guides to maintain consistency.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and health/safety practices.
• Assist in inventory taking and equipment usage.
• Attend training sessions and adapt to changes.
