Job summary

Hilton Singapore is seeking a Commis I to join our Hotels team. You will assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes that delight guests and colleagues, following recipes and Hilton standards to ensure consistency, quality, and food safety.

Qualifications

• Junior middle school graduate or above.
• Minimum 2 years as Cook or 1 year as Commis II in a 5-star hotel, international brand hotel or high-standard restaurant.
• Valid health certificate.
• Good knowledge of Western or Chinese cuisine.
• Able to work in a moist, hot and sometimes loud environment.
• English language proficiency (verbal and written) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for guests and team members efficiently, hygienically, and per recipes/procedures.
• Support the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operation and prompt service.
• Plan, prepare and set up high-quality food and beverage products and restaurant setups.
