Job summary

WHOLESOME CHOICE CONCEPT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a kitchen professional to support daily cooking operations at Central Kitchen (Tai Seng). You will follow SOPs, prepare and cook according to production schedules, and maintain high hygiene and food safety.

If you have 1-2 years kitchen experience, strong knowledge of food handling, and a Diploma in pastry & bakery, you may fit. The role requires adhering to hygiene standards, monitoring stock, and operating kitchen equipment safely.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of kitchen experience.
• Good knowledge of food handling, preparation and cooking procedures for a specific station.
• Ability to maintain high levels of hygiene and order in work area including chiller and freezer.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene regulations and following company quality standards.
• Graduated with a Diploma in pastry & bakery will be advantages.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of menu items and the standard preparation methods according to the SOP.
• Prepare and cook in accordance to the production schedule or as instructed by the superior.
• Cook and prepare items in a timely manner.
• Monitor the production of food items to ensure compliance with the recipes and specifications.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly at appropriate temperatures.
• Check proper quantity, quality and expiry date of received goods in accordance to the company’s guideline.
• Assist to monitor stock level.
• Ensure good personal hygiene, proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area and kitchen tools.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
