We specialise in innovative recycling and recovery processes that transform waste into valuable resources. Our mission is to drive circular economy principles whilst delivering exceptional service to our commercial and industrial clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to environmental excellence, operational efficiency, and building lasting partnerships with our stakeholders.
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial & Marketing Executive to join our team at our Tuas Bay West Region facility on a full-time basis. The Executive, Commercial & Marketing is primarily responsible for managing and growing an assigned portfolio of client accounts across Cimelia's e-waste management, IT asset disposition (ITAD), secure data destruction and recycling services. Approximately 70% of the role is account management and 30% supports Cimelia's marketing and lead generation activities.
Key responsibilities
- Account Management (primary, ~70%)
- Client Relationship Management
- Own the day-to-day relationship for assigned client accounts, acting as their main point of contact and ensuring a high standard of service and responsiveness.
- Conduct regular check-ins and account reviews to understand clients' IT refresh cycles, decommissioning plans, sustainability targets and compliance needs, and anticipate upcoming requirements.
- Coordinate client onboarding, service enquiries and follow-up communications professionally and promptly, and maintain accurate account records in the CRM.
- Account Retention & Growth
- Prepare and present quotations and proposals, secure contract renewals ahead of expiry, and identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts (e.g. adding data destruction, full ITAD or bulk disposal).
- Maintain an accurate pipeline for the portfolio, forecast expected volumes and revenue, and flag at-risk accounts early with a recovery plan.
- Service Delivery Coordination
- Liaise between clients and the operations team to schedule collections, confirm site requirements and manpower, and manage project timelines.
- Ensure clients receive complete and timely documentation, including Certificates of Recycling, Certificates of Data Destruction, asset serial reports and records.
- Resolve service issues promptly and elevate operational or compliance risks to the Manager.
- Compliance & Value Communication
- Explain Cimelia's processes and compliance credentials (PDPA, NEA licensing, ISO certifications, data sanitisation standards) confidently to clients and procurement teams.
- Support clients' ESG & sustainability reporting by providing recycling data and impact summaries, working with the ESG & Project Executive.
- Host client site visits and facility tours, and support tender and RFQ submissions.
- Marketing & Lead Support (secondary, ~30%)
- Marketing Materials & Campaigns
- Support the execution of marketing plans and campaigns, including coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
- Gather client testimonials, feedback and service data to strengthen marketing collateral.
- Events & Outreach
- Assist in planning and coordinating Cimelia's participation in industry events, exhibitions and community outreach activities, and follow up on leads generated.
- Reporting
- Log lead sources and outcomes so marketing activity can be linked to commercial results, and contribute account updates to the management.
