Job summary

Enggsol Pte Ltd is seeking a subcontract management professional to drive techno-commercial subcontract strategies and manage agreements that meet project requirements and company policies. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to achieve timely, cost-effective delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will obtain proposals, review tenders, negotiate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, monitoring costs

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, business or related field.
• Strong techno-commercial background with procurement or subcontracting experience.
• Experience in shipbuilding, ship repair or marine industry preferred.

• Obtain techno-commercial proposals and assist in tender clarifications and negotiations.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements aligned with project specs and standards.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor costs and align with project budgets.
• Assist in cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Measure subcontractor performance including safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Prepare periodic reports on subcontract performance and compliance.

Job description

You’ll drive impactful subcontract strategies, managing agreements to ensure compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations and company policies. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to achieve timely and cost-effective delivery, all while maintaining uncompromised quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• To obtain techno-commercial proposals and assist in tender clarifications and negotiations with subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements in line with project specifications and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor costs and ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Assist in cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Carry out subcontractor performance measurement, including the adherence to safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Prepare periodic reports on subcontract performance and compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• Strong techno-commercial background, preferably with 3-5 years of experience in subcontract management in ship building, ship repair or marine industry.
• Familiar with bidding and tender protocols
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
