Job summary

MOOREAST ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Marine Commercial/Billing professional in Singapore.

You will handle ship owners’ and clients’ invoices queries, prepare tenders, project estimates, quotations and contracts, and liaise with clients, vendors and departments on contractual requirements. You will monitor project costs and invoicing throughout projects. The role requires minimum 5 years in Marine Commercial/billing and strong knowledge of billing tariffs and commercial practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in the relevant field.
• Good knowledge in commercial practices.
• Good knowledge in billing tariffs.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Marine Commercial/ billing.

Responsibilities

• Attend to ship owners and clients invoices queries.
• Preparation of tenders and project estimates.
• Preparation of quotation and contract/agreement.
• Liaison with clients, vendors as well as departments on project contractual requirements.
• Follow-up on progressive project cost and update/invoicing to clients.
• Negotiate and coordinate with all parties on project schedule.
• Prepare accurate estimates and billings.
• Negotiate with owners and subcontractor on ship repair contract.
• Prepare & negotiate invoice for ship repair/fabrication project.
• Submit progressive budgetary update cost to ship owner.
• Work closely with the operations and project team(s).
• Assist the General Manager with Ad-hoc duties / deliverables as required.
