Job summary

ROTA-MACH ELECTRICAL SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned leader to direct commercial project management for shipbuilding, upgrading, repair and conversion. You will liaise with stakeholders, estimate costs and drive strategies to maximize revenue and operational performance.

You will lead the commercial team, resolve contractual issues, coordinate schedules, and partner with operations, sales and marketing to align commercial requirements with project goals, ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial management within the shipbuilding or maritime industry.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with shipowners, vendors, and internal departments to clarify project requirements and control costs
• Estimate and project costs for shipbuilding, upgrading, repair, and conversion projects to support budgeting and planning
• Negotiate and coordinate project schedules with all involved parties to ensure timely delivery
• Manage and lead the commercial team by developing skills, conducting training, overseeing performance management, and planning succession
• Resolve contractual and commercial issues promptly and report progress and challenges regularly to management
• Collaborate with operations, commercial, sales, and marketing teams to align commercial requirements with project and sales activities
• Analyze financial, operational, commercial, and customer data to identify billing or commercial issues and implement effective corrective actions
• Develop, review, and optimize commercial strategies to maintain competitive advantage
• Partner with the sales team to target high-value customers and maximize business revenue
• Adapt to changing assignments efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
