Job summary

Housing and Development Board in Singapore is seeking engineers to help shape the future of our coastlines through coastal engineering projects. You will plan and manage coastal engineering works, conduct feasibility and environmental studies, and prepare cost estimates and schedules for projects.

You will coordinate tendering, review designs, and oversee consultancy and construction activities to meet budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Civil or environmental engineering background recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Experience in coastal, land reclamation, infrastructure, geotechnical, traffic or hydraulic projects is an asset.
• Familiarity with engineering design/analysis software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage coastal engineering projects and related works.
• Conduct feasibility and environmental studies and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate tendering and supervise design, consultancy and construction to meet budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders.
