Job summary

HDB Housing & Development Board in Singapore seeks civil or environmental engineers to shape coastlines. You will plan and manage coastal engineering projects, conduct feasibility and environmental studies, and prepare cost estimates and schedules for projects.

You will coordinate tendering, review designs, and supervise consultancy and construction works to meet budgets and timelines. Strong communication, analytical skills, and a growth mindset are essential; PE Singapore-registered background

Qualifications

You should possess a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
Prior experience in coastal, land reclamation, infrastructure, geotechnical, traffic or hydraulic engineering projects is preferred.
Knowledge of relevant engineering design/analysis software will be an asset.
Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage coastal engineering projects including geotechnical and infrastructure works.
Conduct feasibility studies and environmental studies; prepare cost estimates and project schedules.
Coordinate and supervise the tendering process; review engineering design.
Supervise and manage consultancy and construction works to meet budgets and timelines.
