Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Singapore seeks a Civil/Environmental Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to design and analyze coastal structures such as quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments and land reclamation. You will perform C&S and geotechnical work for local and overseas projects, plan site investigations and manage subcontracts, and supervise field and design activities.

Bachelor Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering recognised by BCA/IES/ACES.
2–5 years of civil engineering experience in large-scale infrastructure/reclamation.
Strong written and verbal English.
Team player; able to multi-task.
Experience in contract administration advantageous.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Carry out C&S and geotechnical design for coastal structures such as quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments and land reclamation.
Assist in design and analysis for coastal works, including deep/shallow foundations and retaining systems.
Plan site investigations and manage subcontracts (soil investigation, biodiversity, etc.).
Supervise both design and site work.
Ensure engineering works comply with relevant standards and Codes of Practice.
Engage and manage stakeholders; support tender submissions.
