SAFRA National Service Association is seeking an experienced leader to manage and enhance a premier club, focusing on facilities, services and member experience. You will drive market positioning, events, programmes and partnerships while aligning with SAFRA’s mission to serve Singapore’s defence community.
Responsibilities include strategic planning for growth and revenue, governance, budgeting, and delivering high-quality member experiences across facilities and activities.
You will be responsible for overall management, enhancement and strategic repositioning of the club, ensuring high standards of operations, services excellence and member experience. The role involves successfully marketing and positioning the club’s facilities, programmes and activities, strengthening SAFRA’s defence character by fostering camaraderie, recognising National Servicemen and creating meaningful experiences that reinforce SAFRA’s mission of serving Singapore’s defence community.
Your key responsibilities include:
Manage and market the club’s facilities and services, ensuring a consistently high usage and take-up rate.
Organise club events, activities and courses, achieving high satisfaction.
Manage the club’s market positioning, public relations and service quality so as to enhance the club’s image.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve membership growth, revenue targets and organisational objectives.Ensure effective management of the club’s finances and administration to meet operational requirements and achieve cost efficiency.
Oversee the planning, budgeting and performance monitoring of club programmes and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, safety regulations and governance requirements.
Analyse membership, participation and utilisation trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Drive partnerships and collaborations with community groups, corporate organisations and stakeholders to enhance the club's offerings.
Manage feedback, complaints and service recovery processes to uphold member satisfaction.
Support committee meetings and work closely with volunteer leaders to align programmes and activities with members' needs.
Represent the club in corporate, community and stakeholder engagements to strengthen the club's profile and reputation.
Work closely with Executive Committee, Interest Groups and key stakeholders to deliver member-centric programmes while balancing member value, operational sustainability and governance requirements.
Plan and develop new club facilities and services to serve lifestyle needs of members.
Requirements:
Degree holder with 6-8 years of relevant experience in the hospitality/club industry
Candidates with experience in sports/event management, community engagement, marketing and strategic planning preferred
Established network in the sports, community and entertainment industry will be an added advantage
Possess strong leadership and people management skills
Possess keen interest and demonstrate knowledge of activities/programmes related to sports, community engagement, entertainment, especially the latest developments and trends.
Mature and creative individual with good interpersonal and communication skills.
