We are seeking anBusiness Development Executive to join our team on afull-time basis at our Tessensohn Clubhouse (near Farrer Park MRT). The Business Development Executive role drives revenue growth for the Club's function rooms and event spaces by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
The role covers the full sales cycle: generating leads through sales calls and networking, preparing proposals and quotations, conducting venue tours, and negotiating and closing contracts. It also involves coordinating with Operations and Marketing to ensure smooth event execution, maintaining client relationships for repeat business, monitoring market trends to inform promotional strategies, and tracking sales performance through regular reporting and CRM management.
Identify, prospect, and acquire new business opportunities for function room rentals, corporate events, weddings, private celebrations, seminars, workshops, and community events.
Develop strategic partnerships with corporations, schools, government agencies, associations, and community groups.
Conduct regular sales calls, networking activities, and client visits to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue and booking targets.
Promote the Club's function rooms, banquet facilities, and event packages to prospective clients.
Respond promptly to enquiries and prepare customized proposals, quotations, and event packages.
Conduct venue tours and site inspections for prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and successfully close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
Liaise closely with Operations, and Marketing team to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
Ensure all client requirements are accurately communicated and delivered.
Follow up after events to gather feedback and identify future business opportunities.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
Recommend new promotional packages and marketing initiatives to increase function room occupancy.
Participate in networking events, and community engagement activities to promote the Club.
Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Maintain accurate client records using the Club's CRM or sales management system.
Track sales performance and recommend strategies to improve revenue.
Proven experience in sales, coordination or management, ideally within a hospitality, membership or corporate environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence in liaising with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Sound financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes.
Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to manage challenges proactively.
