Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional cloud engineering, backend or data/platform experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of Python development experience.
• At least 1–2 years building and maintaining AWS services in production.
• Strong SQL knowledge and database schema design.
• Experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework and Cloud principles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for telematics analytics platform using IaC.
• Develop and optimize Python services, SQL schemas, and data workflows.

Job Description
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and backend services, contributing to architecture decisions with senior engineers. This is a hands-on cloud/backend role supporting our telematics data platform - you'll work across infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration APIs.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and collaborative, with strong ownership and a practical approach to solving production problems.

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for our telematics analytics platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Develop and optimize Python services, SQL schemas, and data workflows
• Implement security, monitoring, and cost controls following team standards
• Build & maintain APIs/SDKs that enable secure client integration with our platform
• Collaborate with data, product and business teams to develop innovative cloud solutions.

Job Requirement

• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, backend development, or data/platform engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• Minimally 2 years of experience in Python
• Minimally 1-2 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining AWS services in production
• Strong understanding of database schema design and SQL querying
• Experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud principles and the well-architected framework.
