Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Backend) to join their IT team in Singapore at the LTA office. The role focuses on building scalable cloud environments and robust infrastructure.

You will work Monday to Friday with a 1-year renewable contract, design and implement IaC, and ensure security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud environments using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and infra provisioning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure availability and scalability.
• Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network security controls.

Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Backend) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract
• Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Backend)
• Location: LTA office
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus + Medical Benefits

Job Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud environments and services using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native or third-party tools to automate deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure system availability, performance, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, and network security controls, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Configure and optimize cloud networking, including traffic routing, connectivity, and overall network performance.

Job Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or other major cloud platforms.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, cloud security principles, and security compliance frameworks.
• Experience monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
