Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and backend services for our telematics data platform.

You will work with senior engineers on architecture decisions and deliver hands-on solutions across infrastructure, data pipelines, and APIs. The role emphasizes proactive collaboration, ownership, and practical problem-solving. We look for 2–3 years’ cloud engineering experience, Python, AWS production work, and a solid grounding

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, backend development, or data/platform engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• Minimally 2 years of experience in Python
• Minimally 1–2 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining AWS services in production
• Strong understanding of database schema design and SQL querying
• Experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud principles and the well-architected framework

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for our telematics analytics platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Develop and optimize Python services, SQL schemas, and data workflows
• Implement security, monitoring, and cost controls following team standards
• Build & maintain APIs/SDKs that enable secure client integration with our platform
• Collaborate with data, product and business teams to develop innovative cloud solutions

Job Description

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and backend services, contributing to architecture decisions with senior engineers. This is a hands‑on cloud/backend role supporting our telematics data platform — you’ll work across infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration APIs.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and collaborative, with strong ownership and a practical approach to solving production problems.
