Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and backend services for our telematics data platform. You will contribute to architecture decisions with senior engineers and work hands-on across infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration APIs.

The ideal candidate is proactive and collaborative, with ownership mindset and practical problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional cloud engineering, backend or data/platform experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of Python development experience.
• At least 1–2 years building and maintaining AWS services in production.
• Strong SQL knowledge and database schema design.
• Experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework and Cloud principles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for telematics analytics platform using IaC.
• Develop and optimize Python services, SQL schemas, and data workflows.
• Implement security, monitoring, and cost controls following team standards.
• Build and maintain APIs/SDKs enabling secure client integration.
• Collaborate with data, product, and business teams to develop cloud solutions.
