Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cloud Engineer (Python, AWS) to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and backend services.

You’ll contribute to architecture decisions and work across infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration APIs in a hands-on role supporting our telematics data platform. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and takes ownership to solve production problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Data Science or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Backend Development, or Data/Platform engineering.
• Minimally 2 years of Python experience.
• Minimally 1–2 years of hands-on AWS in production.
• Strong SQL knowledge and database schema design.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for telematics analytics platform using IaC.
• Develop and optimize Python services, SQL schemas, and data workflows.
• Implement security, monitoring, and cost controls per team standards.
• Build & maintain APIs/SDKs for secure client integration.
• Collaborate with data, product and business teams to develop cloud solutions.
