Cloud Security Sales Engineer — DevSecOps SaaS

Job summary

CleanStart is seeking a technically savvy and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our Singapore team. You will articulate the value of our cybersecurity SaaS solutions across Southeast Asia, working with prospects, customers, and internal teams to deliver tailored technical solutions.

You will lead product demos, participate in technical discovery, develop PoCs, respond to security questionnaires, and stay current with DevSecOps trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role within cybersecurity or DevSecOps.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native security, CI/CD pipelines, container security, and SaaS architectures.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to identify customer needs and propose effective cybersecurity and DevSecOps solutions.
• Deliver engaging product demos, technical presentations, and workshops to prospects and partners.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and translate business requirements into solution architecture.
• Develop and present proof-of-concept (PoC) environments to showcase product capabilities.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with accurate and compelling technical content.
• Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in cybersecurity and DevSecOps.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to relay customer feedback and influence product roadmap.
• Support onboarding and handover to Customer Success and Implementation teams.
