Job summary

JPMorganChase in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer III to join Infrastructure Platforms, Cloud Foundational Service. You’ll work with an agile team to design and deliver trusted technology products in a secure, scalable way.

You will develop, debug, and maintain production code, leverage AI-assisted development tools, and contribute to architecture artifacts while ensuring coding standards and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience coding in a modern language and querying databases in a large corporate setting.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with evaluation of AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, secure handling, and resiliency/ security expectations.
• Strong debugging skills and knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency and security.

• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Uses enterprise AI-assisted tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and automated testing.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools and automation to improve value realized by automation.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met by code.
• Gathers, analyzes, and develops visualizations from large data sets for continuous improvement.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
