Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and support cloud infrastructure across production and non-production systems in Singapore.

Responsibilities include EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, networking, and automation with Terraform/CloudFormation, plus monitoring with CloudWatch and incident resolution. Strong scripting and CI/CD experience are required, with the ability to work after hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in computer science/IT/engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or system operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, Linux/Windows admin, and security best practices.
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, DevOps) preferred.

• Support backup, disaster recovery, security controls, and compliance requirements to maintain operational resilience.
• Manage cloud networking, certificate activities, and connectivity between cloud and on-premise systems.
• Support cloud cost optimisation, maintain technical documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in after-hours support for maintenance, deployments, and critical incident activities.

Requirements:

• Hands‑on experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, Linux/Windows administration, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Grafana is advantageous.
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, DevOps) preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to support after-hours maintenance and incident activities.
